Executive Presence... Viewed by many as the "great unknown" in the business world, executive presence may well be the most important and least understood attribute of a leader. This session is designed to help you "fill in the blanks" when it comes to this elusive skill. You will learn to define, identify and develop the work habits and professional and personal discipline required and expected of executives as they progress through their career. Leadership Styles and Application... Every effective leader has his or her own personal style, but few use the same style and methods to address every work challenge. This session will explore the various styles of effective leadership and how and when they should be applied. It also will include a discussion of how leaders can effectively create their own "personal brand." Leading Meetings that Work... There's a common misconception in business that "you either meet or you work." This module focuses on the primary elements leaders can use to plan and execute meetings that work AND actually help you and your team get work done in the process. Communicating in a Crisis... Like it or not, all business leaders will almost certainly encounter at least one crisis where their ability to effectively communicate will be tested. This module addresses the processes and methods for effectively managing crisis-related messaging that goes well beyond basic media training. In addition to exploring how leaders should communicate during a crisis to external entities, it also covers what must be done within the company. Performance Evaluations and Coaching... Providing candid, clear and useful feedback to an employee is one of the most important jobs of a business leader. Unfortunately, when talent leaves a company, one of the most common reasons cited is a lack of clarity and direction regarding employee improvement and career path. This session provides insights on how leaders can create and deliver powerful and actionable performance reviews designed to keep employees engaged and motivated. It will also provide direction on delivering "tough" reviews when needed. Individual Executive Coaching...
